Hey guys, I am new to the board. I am going to be staying at Harrah's in late November or early December. I am looking for a little gambling advice. I have read many posts on this board and you guys seem to be the experts on AC. First, I will give you a little bit of info about myself to better help you guys (hopefully!) help me.

Ok, so I am not a high roller and have only been to AC 4 times. Last September (October maybe?) I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for a night....

Just booked a junket trip for turkey day weekend and had the choice to stay at Bally's or Harrah's. I picked Harrahs since they couldn't guarantee that we wouldn't get a Claridge room (is that the Dennis tower?), although I would've liked to have stayed on the boardwalk. Anyway, does Harrah's still have the total rewards shuttles that only go to their properties? I think we are able to use it by showing a room key since we aren't diamond or platinum. At least...

7 Star Club at Caesars

Joe and I were at Caesars yesterday and that latest rumor is that the now closed Baccanal will be turned into a 7 Star Club . Just wondering if any of our AC1 7 Star people know if there is any truth to this . Seems like there should be more than just the one at Harrahs , and the little room in Caesars Diamond club certainly cannot qualify as a 7 Star club!!! Virginia

Trump Plaza, Yes Or No?

My wife & I are heading back to A.C. in October to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Got an offer for 2 nights free at Trump Plaza. Doing a little research, I've found nothing but negative reviews on the rooms & the hotel. Anyone stay there recently, if so how was it? Also I got an offer for 2 nights comped at Harrahs which looks like a better place however it's not on the boardwalk. Appreciate any info.

Borgata Cage Wire

I'm heading down to the Borgata this weekend and don't want to carry a lot of cash with me. Is there a minimum to wire money down to the cage (I'm thinking of sending between $1,000-2,500). If I win can I just deposit the cash back into an account so I don't need to hold it overnight or is this type of thing only available to high rollers?

What do I have to do to set all of this up?

Does anyone know if Borgata is still upgrading if you have a Diamond card from Harrahs ? I upgraded when Borgata first opened but Joe did not have a Diamond card at the time so he just got the Borg red , I am hoping he can now upgrade to the black label . Thanks for any info . Virginia

We are trying to plan a short midweek trip to AC and being low level players, we need to pay for our room. Any suggestions for the best choice for us.

Sheraton $89 per night plus $14 parking. Trump Marina $119 free parking and free buffet breakfast and 20 match game play. Harrah's $119 with free pool and 2 free drinks, unsure of parking charges.

Going to Caesars Weds. & Thurs.night, booked it way in advance, didn't even know air show will be there, however I keep hearing horror stories how crowded it will be, I intend to get to AC around 3ish (I really have no desire to see the air show), Is it true the parking garages will be full? Hi all, I have a question regarding Caesars LFB, I'm not sure exactly what that means, and I'm not a high roller, I think my tier score is 1,300, anyway I did get a comp. room for next week and was told I had LFB, Limited Food Beverage, however last time I was there, I showed my Total Rewards card and I still had to pay for the two buffets.??, shouldn't that have been taking out of my LFB or was it because I had no points or money on my Total Rewards card? We're thinking of going up to Foxwoods for a show on August 1st. I'm interested in hearing about the place, as I've never been there, and specifically about the hotel rooms. Does it matter where we stay if we don't plan to be in the room much? Also, are their places nearby to stay instead? It's possible there will be 3 of us sharing a room and we probably don't want to spend a lot or more than we need to.

Hi all-

Almost a year ago, I decided to take Harrah's up on an offer for a free room at Caesar's Palace for two nights. The room was beautiful. Huge with a great view. Since then we have stayed a few days here and there, always getting free rooms, and the offers just keep getting better and better. I am no high roller by any means. I usually lose around $200 or so on a three day trip. On our last trip, I actually wound up coming home $100 up.

I was wondering whether the recession has affected table-game limits in Atlantic City. Are there more $5 blackjack and Let It Ride tables available, or are casinos holding the line with mostly $10-and-up limits? My wife and I are from Mass. and visit a couple of times a year. We are making a quick visit this weekend to AC after being gone for about a year. Will make it to a few HET properties along the way. I think I heard somewhere that hours were reduced lately and even shut down some? Though we are staying at Harrahs Marina, we will wander over to Boardwalk on Sunday.

Any RECENT experience with hours in the Diamond Lounges?

And, which Trump property would anyone suggest to do a Diamond Card match?
