This weekend was rather different, since I rarely make 2 day trips to AC on consecutive days. If I am planning on being there for 2 days, I will almost always book a room.
The weather was exceptional, so I did not want to spend the day entirely indoors, but since the Casino's were passing out reel coupons and promotions, I decided on 2 day trips.

Saturday was promo and coupon day, while Sunday was a special trip to meet Edb and distribute his winnings.
D and I walk over to the BBar and notice one entire side of the bar active with vp players. We sit behind them on the couch, while I find Edb's phone number. I believe I recognize him, but just to make sure I will call his phone, which is displayed on his belt. I was too late, he got up and wandered out of the bbar, covering his screen to prevent other's from taking his machine. Since, he left his belongings on the counter, the lady sitting next to him, must be his wife. I approach and ask and she looks at me in a guarded fashion, denying knowing the person that just left.
D and I decide to walk over to the other side of the bar and try the vp. After 4 spins we hit a 4oak jacks and cash out. Not bad for a quick hit.
Later I found out that the entire side of the bar were all Edb's entourage and they were wisely protecting their friend from this unscrupulous stranger asking about him.
We met Edb and wife and had a few laughs. Did you know that Edb didn't play within the reach of the famous handbag?!!

The Borgata with all of its polish and quality, is a fine casino and a wonderful place to stay.
But, I enter a casino for one purpose and that is to win and earn some money. The Borgata reward program has a 6 month expiration on points and a cap of $3000 (that is what I am told,
if this is incorrect, please correct the information) which I can reach in a single visit. Harrah's does not have a cap and the points never expire (if you swipe or visit every 6 months).

Although I have special limits in most casinos, Borgata's limits are toward the conservative side. I fully understand this strategy, since the casinos are in the business of making money.
Trump and Harrah's casinos provide the table player with an added incentive of a larger table range and better table odds.

But with all of that said, since I am here, I might as well try the tables

I entered the pit with limited time and sat at only 1 table for about 1 hour.
It was a very harsh table, I was only dealt 2 twenties, the entire time I was there.

The pool chips and my own chips were stacked on the table in separate piles. Hmmm, should I play a pool chip, my own chip or both chips.....
Which pile did I take that chip from, how many go back to which pile?

Unfortunately, this is breaking my concentration a bit and any break could potentially cost me quite a bit of moola.

I decide that it is time to stop and have dinner, but wait... I have no comp points here!!!

I ask the pit boss for a comp, 2 for the buffet and he laughs at me. Are you kidding? I explain the entire difference between Borgata's rewards and Harrah's and he acknowledges how the non-expiring, non-capped accumulation is a great program. He calls over the supervisor, who seems also surprised that I have no comp points. Okay, okay, so I have no comp points!!!!

After we joke a little more, they ask if I would rather go to one of the restaurants. I told them that the buffet was fine with me, since I was short on time.
The cut me a comp for $70+ and I head over to the buffet. I forgot that if you use the buffet without using your comp points, you have to pay the full amount!!!
No wonder they cut the comp for $70+, I was questioning why it was so high for the buffet.

The management of the pool is a bit distracting, so I will have to end this contest at this point. It has been interesting and although I believe that I could continue it indefinitely, I am sure you don't really want me to be the one working your money.


I will ezmail all players with instructions on distributing the remaining pool.

This past weekend with only 2 dealt 20s and only 1 hour to play, was only balanced by my ridiculously lucky pulls of 21. It is very uncomfortable to be dealt 13, 14, 15 and pull 21 on each hand. Uncomfortable, but nice!!

I did however get 3 - 11's to double on, 2 of them resulted in 21 and the last received a "2"!!!!
This gave me 13 against the dealer, who had an 8+3. I was sure it was all over, but miraculously the dealer busted!!


The pool is now $2000 (4 "play on" members)
Each member has an equal share (1/4 of the "play on" pool = $500)

Now, I don't jump back on just any nice hand. The hands that I jump back on are usually rather large wagers that would make any man cry

Just look for the crowd circling a blackjack table. If there is no crowd, then I am not winning. If the crowd is 2-3 rows deep, I am clearing the rack!!
