Bright and early Monday morning, I am back to earning Social Security I will never be able to collect! Whoo Hooo!!!
So you all know now that I have been out of work for over four months and I am not meant to be a homebody. It's not like having free time makes me a better cook or inspires me to create art - I work for a reason - I am good at it! Been interviewing forever and finished second several times, including a turndown on Christmas Eve. (They say whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? Had a tough time recovering on that one) Finally went back to my old boss (worked for an employment agency) and begged him to help me find something. He came thru in a big way and now he can make some money off of placing me.
PLUS, this is the best part, it is with the MDA. You know, Jerry Lewis, the telethon, muscular dystrophy? Yup, I can give something back and make money to gamble. What's better than that?
And I thought last Monday was going to be the best Monday. LOL
