Mom gave up her fight this past Saturday . She was very tired , the last few months were rough for her . Along with her loss of eyesight years ago she loss the
use of her legs , she was not even able to stand on her own . I was forunate enough to have Mom at home with us . I was with her holding her hand when she
passed away , she just closed her eyes and went to sleep . Some people may think I am crazy but I look at it this way . Mom and I were alone when I came into
the world and we were alone when Mom left this world . I will miss her greatly but am happy that she is no longer suffering . Bye for now Virginia

Virginia - it is always hard to lose your Mom, and the final blessing for both of you was that you were able to be with her when she passed on. For now, try to
console yourself with the many wonderful memories I'm sure you have, and know that you did the best you could for her.

Virginia, our thoughts are with you, enjoy the memories of all the great times you had. I lost my Mom to a prolonged illness 10 years ago. I remember
feeling guilty because I was happy when she finally passed, I now know I was happy because I could not stand to see someone I loved suffer. she is in a
better place now. God bless...edb

Thank you all for your kind words . We just got back from Mom's funeral today , it was up in north Jersey . It was a very emotional day , Mom was loved by
so many people that the Funeral Parlor was packed . Mom always thought that since she was 93 and most of her friends had passed that she would not have what
she called at " big turnout " . WOW , guess she was surprised . Even had a police escort from the funeral home to the church and than past her home
of 60 years ( of course the fact that my brother is a retired police officer from Little Ferry NJ helped ) .
Although I will miss her terribly I am happy that she is no longer suffering . Once again thanks to all my AC1 friends for your kind words. Virginia |

Virginia, sorry about your Mom, Laura and I know how hard it has been for you. We've had to cut back our trips of late as Dad is not doing well, but we are
trying to go down for a day or two, maybe we'll catch you and Joe in the DL.
