Bonus Rounds Poll |
Lead | ||
|
This poll is only about the machines where you make a choice in the bonus round - Pharoah's Fortune, The Frog Prince, Jackpot Party etc.
How do you choose your squares, the squares that decide how long or how well the bonus round will go? (Result)
Some of it's magic and some of it's tragic, but I had a good life all the way

I always pick the same pattern because the last thing I want to do is say to myself is, I knew I should have picked that one. By picking the same pattern there
is no self blame on choices made. Bonus rounds should be fun and if your fun is random picks then that is your pattern and again there is not a blame scenerio.
It is when you deviate from your usual pattern, whatever that may be, that when you pick wrong you feel like unlucky. When you deviate and hit a big one, thats
when you say to yourself, I knew it, I just had a feeling. After that, sticking to a pattern is right out the window and your pattern will be random, till you
lose quick a few times in a row, then it's back to square one. It really makes no difference at all how you pick, as long as you pick lucky ones.
Lots of luck to all, Pappy |

I always pick the same pattern or same area because it takes away the self blame. I have started to do fast picks on some games, like two at time, or the
smear thing because it's fun.

Love the responses so far. I usually do pick individually but I don't think I ever go in the same pattern. Using Pharoah as an example, if I find one of
the multipliers in one area, I will leave that area on the screen to go to the other side. My mind cannot consider that they might be right next to each other!

on pharoh's fortune, i usually pick 3 at a time in one area and then tend to move to the other side - i believe there's some sort of symetric reasoning
to where the multipliers are. and cuz my picks usually arent always great - i tend to stick to games that just simply give you free spins...or that you have to
try to line up 5 trains in the center row

CJ. you think after all the times I picked the "start round" for my first square, I would switch but I am a glutton for punishment. I have done the
trains too but I have a tendency to not hit them as frequently and get pissy about all the happiness happening around me. One of these days...

In Jackpot Party I usally start with the colors and have been lucky doing that. Like pick all red boxes first and so on........

My BIL ( who is a " social " gambler , only gambles when he visits us ) always picks starting at the left , he feels since most people are right
handed they start picking from the right side , the powers that be who program the slots know this so put the " good " picks on the left side . As
with all pattens , sometimes this works , sometimes it does not . LOL Virginia

Adrian::
I do the same thing when in a bonus round of Jackpot Party. I will pick a color and do all of that color first and then pick another color if I am still lucky to be in the bonus round. Once in awhile I will start with the 4 corners just to change things around.

I pick the ones that seem to "stand out" for that p[articular bonus round. Picks may vary each time.

My method is pretty much the same as Bruce's, I pick whichever I "feel" is a good pick. The only problem is more often than not, it isn't,
especially on those quick pick free games. In Vegas each time I picked, it came up 7x2 or 10x2, I haven't seen 20x3 plus wild 5 in a long time. Maybe I
should start taking the more methodical approach and I should really try that left to right, it makes sense.
