Not really new here, as I have been lurking and reading for quite some time. Returned to AC April 30-May 2
for the first time in several years. Wife and I have been going to Tunica two or three times a year and last year made a trip to Luaghlin. This past February we visited New Orleans and Biloxi. With gas as it is and wife doesn't really care to fly we thought we would give AC another look. We are in Virginia and AC is about 7 hours for us as opposed to Tunica and Biloxi both about 12. We had a great time in AC and were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and accommodating people were. This had not always been our experience before. Wife had such a good time that she suggested we return in July for our 28th wedding anniversary. Will be at Bally's July 17-21.
Can't wait. Last trip we visited Bally's, Caesars, Harrahs and Trump Marina and did pretty well.
Ate a couple buffets and once at Rainforest Cafe (wifes choice) and had one great meal at Buddakan at Caesars pier. Any suggestions on things to do or not to miss will be appreciated. Trying to make it a special trip for wife she deserves it.
