Chef Vola's

EDITORIAL REVIEW
Although there are many fine restaurants in Atlantic City, there's only one Chef Vola's. What's most ironic about Vola's is that it is truly
one of AC's landmark restaurants, yet it's simultaneously the city's best-kept secret. There are even some lifelong AC residents who have never
heard of this fine Italian restaurant. You never have, nor ever will see any Chef Vola's advertisements- you just gotta know. Dishes such as red snapper
with crabmeat in a champagne pesto sauce, Chilean sea bass encrusted with macadamia nuts and an unbelievably delicious Veal Saltimboca remain a shared
secret. The restaurant does not accept any walk-ins, you've got to have a reservation - and therein lies part of the mystique. Not only do you need to
call and hope to find an evening when the restaurant's twelve tables aren't completely booked, but unless you were recommended by a regular or are a
regular yourself, the wait could literally be months. Is it worth the wait? Absolutely. The food is consistently the best in town. Not only are the entrees
delicious, but the desserts are sublime. The owners, Michael and Louise Esposito regularly travel to Europe to find new recipes and inspiration. Louise, who
creates the recipes for most of the dishes, has freshly returned from Italy with a new limoncello dessert that is simply terrific. How good is Vola's?
Good enough for Jay-z to celebrate there and dine with Beyonce before going to the opening of his 40/40 club. Important note: Vola is cash only and BYO wine
only.

No Better Place To Eat In The World 10.0 Stars
OK there are great restaurants all over the world where you can enjoy some fine dining, but Chef Vola is as good if not better than any other restaurant you will ever eat at. From the appetizers to the main courses everything is prepared with passion and excellence. I won't go into the assorted delicious dishes to choose from because everthing is top notch especially the specials. There are times of the year that certain meats and fishes are not recommended but Louis, Dominick, Mary and the rest of the family will tell you that. The portions are very generous and I for one hate leaving a restaurant where you just dropped $75.00 and are still hungry. The BYOB is also a very appealing feature considering I need great food to compliment some fine wines I have collected over the years. Do not even consider some reviews that may criticize the ambiance, I find it down right romantic. Once you have made your peace and show your consideration, class, and appreciation to the Esposito family you are taken in as if you are an Esposito yourself. I am not exaggerating about anything in this review and I implore every human I know that is going to Atlantic City to allow me to make them a reservation. Can't wait till next time.

Simply wonderful 10.0 Stars
I had heard about this place for several years and had always wanted to try it. We were fortunate to secure a reservation for a friday evening. While the other reviews are correct in that the "atmosphere" is not luxurious, it is a historic building and this adds to its charm. Put simply, the food was excellent! The portions were huge (my veal dish filled my plate), but more importantly, the quality of the food was outstanding. I am already looking forward to my next trip to AC.

There are a bunch of idiots who post on here. Eileen James from Nevada doesn't know what a home cooked meal is. She didn't like it because she is used to the frozen stuff other places have. Jim i think your brain is overcooked and you have a bad taste in cheesecake. I enjoyed my time and would go back any time i could very good experiences been going for years!
