We headed down to the Borgata on Sunday morning and we got a earlier start then we normally take since we were suppose to get a
small amount of snow Sat. night into Sunday.
I got up at 4:30 which I usually do when we are going to AC and looked out and I see nothing so the snow did not start here yet but when I go to get the Sunday paper off the porch I see it has started.
So Dan gets up and we get ready and by 5:30 we are out the door and on our way down the mountain.
Once we get off the mountain we notice it is not even snowing so we lucked out.
Stopped for breakfast and then were on our way to Our Happy Place.
Noticed as we got to Allentown and got on the turnpike that they got hit with the snow since all the roof tops were covered and you could see snow sitting on the side of the road.
We did hit rain near Philadelphia but we had no problems and arrived at the Borgata by about 9 am.
Checked in but no rooms ready so we checked our bag and off we go to play.
I used up all my bonus slot dollars and my regular slot dollars and nothing. I thought, wow, this is not a good start to my trip but I did not give up and played these machines with no results,
Super Times Pay, Super Deuces, Heart of Gold, and some others and just could not get any thing going at all.
So by 11 am when I went to check on our room I was out $30 which was not bad but still I was into my own money early in the trip.
They had fiore suite open on the 4th floor if we wanted to take such a low floor and Dan said to take it so I did and off to the room we go by 11:10.
We were both a little tired from leaving so early to beat the snow so got to the room and got everything put away and Dan took a nap and I looked thru the Strictly Slots mag for a bit and then headed back down to try and get something going with the slots.
Tried a 5 cent Triple Double Lucky and nothing so moved on to Wizzard of Oz 5 cent machine and got a few bonus rounds but did not make to much on them and in no time flat had given my megar winnings back to the machine.
Back to Super Deuces and nothing going on there so go to a 5 cent Quick Hit machine over by my Super Times Pay machines and they are also by the train machines.
Now these 9 lines I think but anyway cashed out $40 bucks on these and at least got some play.
Then I jump back on my Super Times Pay 5 cent machine and finally it is giving me some play and I put in $40 and cashed out $60 so things are starting to look up.
So I head back to my Super Deuces poker machine. Even when these machines are terrible to me I just keep right on playing them cause I really like them and so here I go again.
The deuces were up over $300 and I really wanted to hit them.
I am getting some 4 of a kinds and it is keeping me going and then I am dealt 4 to a Royal and needed the King of spades.
Well I held the 4 cards and hit DEAL and up pops the King. Again I sit there in shock cause I had just hit a Royal on this same machine back in Oct. so never thought I would get one again so soon.
Well that made my trip cause I knew come hell or high water I was going home with money on this trip.
I cash out and head to the cashier and right up to the room I head BUT guess what, I left my room key in the room so I tell the security guard what I did and he says "Is anyone up there" and I say my hubby so he tells me ok, go on up and so I do. Guess since I am so old he felt sorry for me lol !!!
Dan said he knew I left it up there and if I would keep my cell phone on he would be able to call and tell me this.
Heck I never use the cell phone hardly so never leave it on.
Anyway I show him my winnings and share with him and lock my share up in the safe.
Take a rest for a bit and get washed up and head back down stairs.
I know I tried some dollar 2 coin Quick Hit machines with no luck and then try some dollar 5x10x machines and nothing so tried 50 cent Quick Hits and nothing and give up and go back to my Super Times 5 cent machine and stuck in $10 and chashed out $50
Then I head over by the Comedy club and play a Triple Double Lucky 5 cent machine and stick in $30 and cash out for $312.30. I had some really nice hits.
I played this new penny machine called Krakaton and stuck in ten and cashed out there for $38.86 and then moved to Super Jackpot Party and got nothing going there and then played a few other machines but no use even talking about them since my money went so fast I did not even get settled into my chair right.
I know I met Dan at 5 and headed to the buffet for dinner and as usuall it was very good.
After dinner I went for a walk and then back to playing the machines for a bit.
I tried one of those wrap around machines and could not do anything on it. Tried this big event penny machine over by the Wizzard of Oz but did not get the event and once my money was gone I got up and left. Tried this big event on a different trip and made out well on it.
At 8 pm I went up to the room to watch Amazing Race and it was good and then watched Cold Case but dozed off half way thru it so missed part of it.
Then went back down to the casino and should have just stayed in the room cause I could not get anything going here at all
Played quite a few machines and ended the night on Open The Vault or at least think that is the name and that was a cute game and did ok for awhile but in the end lost my ten bucks.
Jumped right next door to a old jackpot party machine that sometimes is good to me but not tonight.
Hated me tonight so finally at 12:45 gave up and headed up to the room.

Up early and off to the pool we go by 7 am. Spend time in the pool and hot tub and I got some reading done on my book.
Back up to the room and we shower and get ready and head down to the buffet for breakfast.
We both got a garden omelet which was good and we enjoy our food and then I head off to walk some and play some machines.
Oh, it was a lousy start to the day cause nothing I played would give me anything to even keep me there for a bit.
I finally sit down at my Super Deuces and at least got some play time in there.
Took a break up in the room for awhile and then washed up and back down for more pain and suffering till finally I sit down at this penny Hee Haw slot and I must have picked a dandy cause I kept getting the bonus round and I was only playing 60 cents a spin and I stuck in ten bucks and cashed out over a $100.
We hit the buffet again for dinner and then we went to the comedy show at 9 pm but man this show was lousy. None of the 3 were really any good. The first guy was terrible, the second guy was the best and the last team were 2 guys but they were not good either and folks were getting up and walking out and finally as they wound down their act we got up and left also.
Back to the machines I go and Dan went to play cards.
Spent so much time on the Super Deuces but no go, never could get the 4 deuces, got 3 so many times but the 4th deuce must have gotten laid off cause it never showed up for me. I did walk back later but wow, the 4th deuce did get hired back cause it showed up for some one and seen they had been hit. Thank god the lucky super deuces gave me the Royal !!!!!!
I finally end up in the back part of the casino on these Wolf Run machines that I never noticed before.
I have played the older machines lots of times by the Bread and Butter but never saw these newer machines so played them and finally got one that was giving me play so played for about a hour till I finally lost my money.
Moved down to another 5 cent Triple Double Lucky machine and wow, this was little gold mine for me cause I stuck in a ten and cashed out for $204
Finally called it a night and headed off to bed at 2 am.
Today we got up and I ran down to play off the bonus slot money I had coming but could not do anything with it.
We packed up and headed out and had a nice ride home.
This was Dan's birthday trip to his favorite place the Borgata and we both had a good time and I came home a WINNER and man that does not happen to me to often.
