Hi all, I haven't been to AC in a few years here are my questions.
What's the smoking situation now. It was certain areas of the casino were designated for smoking...and smoking rooms were hard to come by?
I read on your site that they are charging double reward points for quickie food. What places do they do this at? Talking HET properties only.
Are there seperate Platinum lines at checkin and dining? I know you are all diamond up here, but some of us live far away from HET props.
I am planning on taking a junket trip. I am going to ask them if I can just book transportation and do the room booking myself. My assumption being a junket gets the worse rooms, according to the website I can get premium room comped.
Last but not least, the opposite Vegas syndrome....do they still downgrade you at check in? I'm not looking for a suite...but when I book a deluxe or premium I expect to get it...seems like myself (last visit) and others I read book a room and when they get there they get knocked down to the standard basic room. My choices if I go through S&S (the junket company) are Harrahs or Bally's....don't know if I should just go with what they get or try to book room myself? Which would you say is better?
Has anyone ever dealt with S&S or other junket companies. Current deal is 3 nights midweek, air , ground transportation and room for $199. Which is the same that it would cost me on my own without the room...which I can currently get comped.
I'm a VEGAS junkie, so not familiar with the differences in AC. I do know that AC requires you to pay tax on your room where Vegas does not.
I would like to stay at Bally's for the boardwalk, but reading some posts on this site sounds like Harrahs has nicer rooms.
Do they still have the HET shuttle? Are platinum and hotel quests allowed or have they turned it into Diamond and up only? (Heard 2 years ago they were going to do this)
